The Warriors of Queen Maeve are based just outside Longford town and have a 40 target woodland course and extensive farm land at their disposal. They also have a variety of terrain available for clout shoots at various times during the year. As the founding club of ITFAS, WQM hold coaching courses and archery workshops throughout  the year as the need arises. WQM has recently built a club house which occasionally doubles up as a bar / folk club / Karaoke lounge.

Kildare based Setanta Archery club formed in late 2004 / early 2005, hit the ground running and have a large membership already. They have held a number of shoots as well as hosting the 2005 and 2007 national ITFAS championships. They have a very large but ever shrinking woodland near to Milltown Co/Kildare. They recently got a rusty old container to shelter in when it rains. Its not as nice as The WQM club house.Contact Trevor the club secretary at  trvhalpin@yahoo.ie

"They must be mad"

Annie Trueman, Warriors of Queen Maeve, 2003. This was muttered about fishermen on Foxford weir in the rain. She was off to do the very sane pass time of shooting foam animals in a soggy woods. POT-KETTLE-BLACK!!!
